Ursuppe is a sonic and choreographic performance that highlights the acoustic matter of everyday life. The actions of 4 singers and dancers, the stage space, 6 singing boxes and 4 keyboards make different acoustic environments come about and disappear. These sonic and scenic acts seem to lack a singular drive or purpose; instead of clear notions of causality and origin we find an ensemble of dispersed influences.
