The Faint Ummmh is an interactive installation combining sculpture and sound created by Nicholas Stücklin, Oya Kozacioglu, Kineret Lourie and Ariel Caine.

Sourcing material from interviews with South East London residents, the work focuses on the production and experience of low-pitched sounds from generators, chargers, electronic devices or other sources in our living environment. The installation contains an archive of sung, synthesized and narrated hums, which are made audible by touching individually crafted objects with distinct tactile features.

Opening Thursday 21st September 6-9 as part of the Deptford X Fringe festival, showing daily 12-6 until Sun 24 Sept, Call & Response, Enclave, London SE8 4AL.
